Senate Bill 608 – The Tenant Protection Bill

·       Substantially alters the relationship between tenants and landlords

·       Is causing confusion and uncertainty among both parties

·       Is complex and has high penalties for landlord error

·       Requires education for everyone


ORHA Education Inc. is providing a FREE two-hour class with handouts for anyone that would like to attend and learn about the new law. 

You can attend either of the 2-hour classes, as they are both the same.  

No registration is necessary but come early to secure seating.  

Handouts will be provided at the class, but bring your own writing utensil and/or clipboard, if you wish, as tables will be unavailable to accommodate the seating.

Speaker: Tia Politi 

                          

Tia Politi is a licensed property manager, rental owner, and president of the Rental Owners Association of Lane County. She worked for many years providing residential property management and eviction services, and currently works as a Property Management Supervisor overseeing four low-income apartment complexes through the Homes for Good Housing Agency in Eugene, OR. She serves as the secretary for the Oregon Rental Housing Association (ORHA), heads up the ORHA Forms Committee, serves as a volunteer instructor for St. Vincent de Paul’s Second Chance Renters Rehab Program, and teaches classes in rental management through her association.
