Speaker: Violet Wilson
Violet Wilson is the "V" in V & R Management. Violet is Oregon licensed and works full-time as a property manager. Violet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science from San Jose State University and a Masters of Science in Education from Western Oregon University. She was a high school teacher for over 34 years in California and Oregon schools.
V & R Management, LLC has operated since 1990, specializing in single family home rentals but they have managed all types of properties.
Violet is a past president of Oregon Rental Housing Association, current chair of the ORHA Education Committee, and serves on the ORHA Legislative Action Committee. Since 2008, she has taught property management classes for local and the state housing provider associations. In addition, she has volunteered to teach classes to help tenants become better residents.
Rental Inspections & Move-ins and Move-outs

Inspections are an important part of property management. The check-in inspection documents the move-in condition of the unit. Routine inspections can help prevent problems from getting worse and indicate to a tenant the type of condition you expect the property to be maintained. This course will provide information on how to do a thorough inspection.
Move-Ins and Move-outs will cover the process for moving in a tenant, the rental agreement forms that can be implemented, and when these forms should be used. Moving out a tenant reviews the critical timelines that need to be followed and forms that can be used during that process.
